Does anyone know where would be the best and/or cheapest place to go to get a Crankshaft Variation (CASE Learn) on my car once I put my new PCM in? Does anyone have a tuner that could do this? I know I can go to a dealer and get it done but dont want them to charge me possibly $100 to do it. I also do not want them to re-flash my PCM back to original specs and lose my programming. I haven't called any dealers to see what they would charge so I'm not sure what it may run me.

i would suggest just putting it in first. there is a 80-90% chance you wont even need it done. Ive transferred quite a few ECMs around and only once did i need to do a case learn, its just not that common. At any rate there are a few guys around with DHP, soo it shouldnt be a problem if it needs it.

it is very possible you won't HAVE to do it if it they send you a used PCM. If it is new, then you have no choice. I recommend doing it although as then it is relearned to YOUR car/engine. Any shop with a tech II can do it and it only takes a couple minutes. CASE realearn is NOT a flash, so there is no need to worry.

Sounds good. I may put it in tomorrow out at my bro's in Enderlin, then test it out on the drive back on monday. Oh yeah, the guys over on my Bonnie site said that I probably wouldn't need it, but it would help to get it done anyways just to make everything match up perfectly.
