Ok, My fiance has a :icon_puke_r:2001 grand prix gt...Just last week it started to light up "ABS" and "TRACTION OFF'. Now i tried turning the car off and turning it back on..and they stay off for a bit but then right back on again. I also tried reseting everythin with taping the pedal 3 times and it was on again but it took a little bit longer? Please if you guys have any idea any input would be greatly appreciated....cuz these freaking lights are pissing me off....!!!

that almost sounds normal...if the light is on then it must be on(duh)...maybe it knows or has sensors that sense(another duh) that, that function is needed for driving?....just a guess.edit: I also hate pontiac...
Please stop posting. That is the dumbest thing you have posted all day. The lights turn on if there is an ERROR with something.

well i guess u'll have to do it the hard way.get a scan tool on it, find out what wheel is at fault, and what fault it is.
then get back to us.it is a complete guessing game untill u know what fault and what corner it is

its a gm....they all do that in the winter...well they're all supposed to..
the abs dont work unless they need to, like in winter, when its slippery. Thats why its on .
otherwise, the abs sensor is bad, or disconnected, or a loose connection..
