So I got this tick in my engine that sounds exactly like lifter tick in a dsm. I still haven't torn into the thing so heres a really stupid question... are there the same kind of hydraulic lifters as in the dsm that need to be replaced when sticky, or is it simply a matter of a bottle of seafoam and readjusting the valve lash with a feeler?

more than likely that, or it could just be your injectors clicking, depending on how loud it is...

If your talkin about a D series... 90% chance you just need to adjust the valves. Most of the time they only tick when cold too

gotta wait till the system is in 🙂 its going to motherfucking slam. yeah yeah, its like 70lbs more weight, but I gotta have my tunage. im just waiting for the amp and power cable. also my header sprung a leak, probably due to ground clearance issues and kinda thin welds. new one on the way tho.
