Perfect 10 Car Show 2008 *Update*
-
I'm very happy to hear that everyone approves of the afterparty idea. It should be a great time. As everyone can see, we are working very hard to try and get this show to the next level. We are very skeptical if the Fargo area is going to be big enough to support a show this big, with expenses just as big. The only thing I can ask is that everyone puts forth the effort to pass on the word to everyone in and around the area. We outgrew the Civic Center (no doubt about that), but taking the jump to the Fargodome is a completely different caliber show. The continued support from not only entrants but spectators is critical to the future of this show. I have a few other changes for 2008, one of which I have created a poll for in 'The Parking Lot' section of this forum.

Sounds like its going to be off the hook!
I will be needing a registration forum this year

I know you had said you are working on it, but haven't seen anything put on on MNSC. Which could draw some people of from down there this year. especailly being over a month away from HIN.

To post in their event section, you have to be allowed access first. It would appear they hate me haha. If you can get into the forum, and copy/paste the information from here, that would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok, I will see what I can do for you. If it works, I will put up all the posts you have made and quote them as Tintmasters.
Ok, just tried. I have no luck either. I would suggest putting the info in car talk- general. Thats where alot of other meets/ show announcements go.
Or, PM Rozzwell.
There have been some issues with some stuff lately I have noticed, but it was of no concern to me.

You're doing a great job Jason, and whoever else is in on the planning. This year should be amazing...i'm definately down for the after party. I'm hoping I can get my car painted and everything this summer so I can enter it. If there's any way to help lmk, i'll try to spread the word.

^ +1
What time does the show start and end, and what time does the after party start and end?
Usually the show is 5-12... But that doesnt leave much time after (assuming most bars close at what 2 up here?) to party... maybe i'll just have to drink fast, lol....

As of now the show is set up as follows subject to change:
8a-11a - Vendor Roll In/Early Bird Car Entrees
11a-3p SHARP - Car Roll In
4p-9:30p - Show
9:30p-10pish - Awards
10p-2am - After PartyThe only way these times will change, is if I can get roll in to start the evening before the show.
Being we don't have the MAJOR annoyance of 2 show rooms, roll in will be slick! Everyone will enter via the loading dock (which is slanted PERFECTLY for lowered/dumped cars), stop at the table right inside the dome to check in and get assigned to your spot. Go and get setup....done. There will be wider walkways, which will make moving around/getting settled much easier, as well as give the opportunity to have clubs arrange their cars how they want....
Of course I wouldn't run the show til 12am and then have an after party....Have a little faith guys!

I also got an email today from a very pumped individual that will be bringing a RHD FD RX7. I am trying VERY hard to have a plethora of RHD cars at the show. The EVO III and JDM WRX's just became available to Canada, and I am trying to get some at the show. Even in stock form, those cars would be awesome. We should also have plenty of RHD Honda's as well.

I just want to go on record of stating that past years shows were excellent and a welcome event to the FM area. This years show should be absolutely amazing. Tintmasters goes through a ton of effort to make these events happen (ESPECIALLY JASON). I hope I speak for everyone when I say I want these shows to be even better this year and every year going forward.
For that to happen, they need our help as well. They need help promoting this show. I know a lot of us are active on many different regional and national forums, so I'm asking everyone to help promote this thing as much as possible. Post pics of past years shows, talk about the fun atmosphere, talk about the drunk guy giving out the Veritas "Tru Pick" award....just talk about the show!
I've done fairly well at this show for the past 3 years, there is nothing I'd like more than to get my ASS KICKED in the Subaru division this year! Why? Because it would raise the bar for myself and others.
I know you and I have talked already Jason, but if there is anything Veritas Racing or myself can do to help, please let me know.
