and actually the Neon (motor-wise) is built in Mexico. Assembeled in the US. The SRT-4 is as American as my car, other then the fact that mine was "designed" in by Subaru which is located in Japan.

Base Sedan WRX's are AWD thats why people choose those over STi's sometimes.

Actually drake, our cars are built & assembled 99% in Japan and 1% in the USA. STi's, I believe, are 100% japan.

Funny when I do a VIN check in my car it says assembeled in OHIO. What do VIN checks know right? Heck half of the stickers thrown in the engine bay, say the same thing.

They use to be assembeled in Gunma Japan, now they are assembeled in the same city as many DSM's - Normal Illinois, and I can't recall the name in Ohio. They stopped production in Japan early after they were introduced in the US.

Fujitsu Hisaba motors (AKA Subaru) outsources most everything they do.

yes it is a galant vr-4... the galant vr-4 is identical to a 1g dsm with 4 doors... same 4g63 powerplant, 2.0L turbo motor... even light modifications will make them quite fast.

An SVT contour (exact same bosystyle as tracer)with some mods would make a great street car and could keep up with an lightly modded srt4.

contours never came in that body style though, with 95 being the first year...so it had to of been a vr4 or a tracer...pretty sure it was a tracer though.
