If you have wifi on your computer or laptop i believe Linksys and some other companies make wireless cameras that operate right through them. There a little spendy but if it stops your shit from getting stolen once it's paid for itself.

i figured i would wait in the garage over night and when they fish there finger in the key hole thing looking for the wires ... BAMMM! i would stomp on their finger. but its too cold to stay out there at night

I think I'd rather try to program my own remote and carry that instead of a key if I had anything of value in the garage. Then unhook the wires myself.
And this is why I lock the truck when it's inside.
