Where's a moderator when you need one?

The last 5 pages would be a perfect thread about car clubs in general.

Shane, Syrie, Shane, Kyle, Jesse, Matt, and Kevin, Congrats on the new car club. I really hope everything goes well. It is not always an easy task starting something from the ground up, but if you have a vision, you should definitely follow it. I do look forward to seeing you guys out and about at the shows, and other events, because I do know most of you, and you are pleasant, and respectful people. Now on to my rant....
While many of you "OG's" do not value my opinion, here it is anyways. There is not one perfect car club, team, group, etc... for everyone. Everyone has their own ideas and opinions, and I just wish that people on here would respect peoples ideas once and awhile, or at least not jump on them for being "stupid" because they have an idea that may differ with their own.
Here is a little history from my personal experiences. Combat Zone and NA, yes I am old enough to remember these clubs, I was the guy driving around in the glowing spaceship wishing to have a car up to those standards one day. My Mustang was obviously not the "mold" for either crew, and I really was intimiated by these people because they were very rude (much like this site 9/10 of the time) when you would try and assoicate with them. So I decided with a few friends to have a ROLLING/CRUISIN CAR CLUB, Mystic Dreams, then it changed to Team Xclerate. I had a GREAT TIME!. At this time the OG crews started to fade, and really the only "crews" driving around town were Envious Creations and Team Xclerate. Funny the only thing these "crews" did was cruise...... And A.J was apart of Envious and I was apart of Xclerate. After Xclerate I tried out for Combat Zone when I got the S2000, but it still had parts missing, and was definitely not ready. I was initially disappointed, but ultimately this was a good thing because it allowed me to help start something new, which shocking for most of you to think of, but with people from another club. Obviously you can tell I hold a grudge with all the TM logos on my car! Oh, and BTW, Ground Assault started as a cruising club, that wanted to do shows occassionaly, but none of us knew anything about the show aspect. So no, I and I hope the rest of the team do not think that a car club must fit into this nice mold of a "show team," it is just the path we have chosen.
Since we started Ground Assault we have evolved, but that doesn't mean we, especially myself, "hate" the other car clubs/teams for being different from us. Examples: Chuck with Veritas, who sponsored Scotts eclipse, or the time Veritas, Tintmasters, and Ground Assault all particiapted at SCN as one big team.
So what I am saying in a nutshell for eveyrone who was too lazy to read and who skips to this part, is that there is plenty of room for more car clubs in the area, clubs which do not have to hate each other because they are different it ideology.
Oh, and BTW, everyone who thinks I am chickenshit, and not really a tuner because I do not drive my vehicle ANYMORE can get fucked!, because I probably do not value your opinion, but normally I try and keep those types of things to myself. Opps, I've been disprespectful, but I thought that was what this site was all about.
Have a nice day

Ground AssaultVery good rant Tony....and very true. I think it is fair to say that the 3 more established clubs in town (Combat R, GA and VR) have ZERO beef with each other and will go out of our way to help each other out at shows or at the track. That is more of what is needed, people who help each other out for no real reason other than to do so.

Combat R Zone is what its called isnt it?

yeah, I meant combat zone...my bad

Good post tony and chuck... it is nice to see everyone working together, just because ur in a certain club doesnt mean they all cant get together and get along... a couple of us have kicked the idea around for the past few years back home about having something, but havent gotten around to setting it up, I think we will soon though now that everyone is starting to get further on their projects...

Ground Assaultwell put Tony!
the more clubs can work together and what not it has a better chance of make a change in this scene around here. it seems to me that the scene has kinda gone down hill a little bit since al ot of people(myself included) have been dumb asses and making the scene look bad by the way we reflect ourself when out driving around and hanging out in parking lots. i think everyone wither your in a club or not should help support each other in every aspect of this scene so we can make it better and not make it seem like all we do is talk shit about each other crews/cars.

Thanks to everyone with positive comments especially Jason, Tony & Chuck comments from you guys go along ways as you guys are all established and well respected in the car scene (at least in my opinion) I know XA is new to the scene (as a club, we have all been around) but give us time and if you want to critisize something we do or theres something you disagree with, voice your opinion we might not care or we may take what you say and use it either way we dont want to blow anything out of proportion, so there are no hard feelings towards anyone who posted negative things about us that is coming from me and i hope i am speaking for the whole team when i say that. But yes having several clubs will be fun in my opinion and hopefully XA can someday join the ranks and get the well deserved respect that cars in Ground Assault and Veritas have (sorry im to young to know about Combat Zone) But anyways if you decided to read my huge post, thanks and we look forward to hangin out with everyone in the future.
