    I hear ya.

I'm thinkin' I'm going to look at the GSXR 600cc bikes. Not to bad lookin' and not overly priced.

    Thanks for the input!

I keep on hearing about problems with the Suzuki's. Mostly frame problems. Personally after riding the 08 CBR600RR I am almost thinking about buying one myself.

Frame problems with Suzukis are only on bikes that have slammed into walls at high rates of speed, from what I've seen.

I had a 07 600rr and loved it. Really nice bikes with plenty of power.

I came across something in february that was all about suzukis frames. Since 06 models changed for the 600cc and 750ccs models they have had nothing but problems with them. Everyone tries to go lighter and lighter and its pretty stupid when the risk of something breaking and the rider getting hurt goes up. I'll see if I can't find the links, but the Gsxr's and Hybusas(sp?) have been notorious for breaking frames the past couple years. Their are guys that have been racing tracks, drag racing, and just cruising where all of a sudden the welds right behind the neck of the bike break and they are riding on their headers.

I have a buddy whose 06 GSXR 1000 cracked the weld on the neck, from riding wheelies.

Yep, I have heard of a few random cracked frames, but it wouldn't deter me from buying one.

They are probably my favorite bikes also, just sucks about his frame cracking within the first couple months of having it.

I have seen frame problems with the gsxr, but it has only been in bikes that have been ridden hard or wrecked. For a first bike I would say that a 600 gsxr wouldn’t be a bad bike. The low cost and availability of bikes and parts is worth it. But its not all that hard to find a good cbr though which I personally would prefer over a gsxr or zx. If I was to recommend a Triumph Daytona 675, maybe its just cause I worked at triumph deal, but I really like the 675.

Suzukis have so much torque they twist the chassis.
