Fast Food Experience
-
Alright everyon this is going to be just a rant about all our fast food services around town so if there is any bad/good experience you would like to rant out here is the place.
My rant - So the Girlfriend and I stop at the McD's late at night right before closing time, ( a mistake we have learned) the fries tasted like they were still frozen and the Chicken Nuggets looked like there was genital herpes on them due to sitting in the oven for a long period of time, the burges i have to say were actually normal. So i am not one to complain and the girlfriend talks me into calling in about it and they offer us our meal to be made all over again, which we take. So we go back and get the meal again and yet again some mistakes were made but only this time it was the hamburgers, oh well what can you do?
I didnt want to complain in the first stance because for one its late and all the workers i am sure are excited to get done and go home, but at the same point its the #1 food branch in America and just because the customer comes in near closing time dosnt mean the food should be out of normal state.

where do you work? So i know to never go there...........

No shit... Your open for a reason. MOST places that know how to run a business, clean up AFTER the doors close therefore the service and food quality doesnt take a complete nose dive.
I guess fast food can do that though because they'll never go out of business. And the fact that 80% of fast food workers are illegals or retards doesnt help...

I work at BK......and Im gonna agree that this is true....I stay away from making peoples food that late...because I just want to go home, and another thing.....I gotta get away from this fast food crap....Hey, which one do you work at so I know which one to steer clear of.

I try not to make a habit of going in to a restaurant when it's close to closing as common courtesy, but when a fast food restaurant is open til, let's say, 1 am and a customer comes in at 12:59 it shouldn't be beyond the employees to help them in the most courteous, timely, and sanitary way possible. I now what it's like, I worked at a grocery store for 5 years and we always had customers come in at 5 minutes to close and spend 20 minutes shopping but we stuck around and did the job we were paid to do and not give the customer any grief, sure we may bitch about it later but at the time we always did our best to treat the customer, no matter how big an ass they were, right. If you can't handle that then I would find another line of work.

I used to work at the Mcd's on main in west fargo back in the day. I admit it sucks when someone comes in before you close to eat but honestly.....how long does it really take to make their food and get them out of there? People who bitch about making an extra burger before closing time IMO are just lazy. Get over it.
Now for a different spin on the subject. When i worked for Outback Steakhouse people would still come in 10-15 min before close and eat. That pissed me off cuz as you all know its NOT fast food. It takes some time to make that kind of food. A full meal vs a burger and fries....... and they take the full meal? Wheres the common courtsy there?

Now that would suck. Restaurants like that should have a policy that says "No food served 30 minutes prior to closing" or something like that. Because in all reality, it takes a good 15 min to cook a meal like what a restaurant like outback does. I do have to agree with you on that.
But fast food is another story. Your open till 1am for a reason. Stop being a lazy bitch and make the burger and fries like your supposed to. If you don't like it, get the fuck out of the food industry.

It's always people that come in and want the shit that will dirty up your grills more than anything else. There's nothing that pisses me off more than a table who walks in 5 minutes before close, just after I finished cleaning the line - including the grills, egg pans, etc - and they order a combination of burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast. The walk in 5 minutes to close, don't order until after close, then sit there and yap for a half hour after they've finished eating. Not only do I have to re-clean the line, but I have to wait for them to leave so I can wash their fucking dishes before I go. I could understand some fryer shit like fries, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, etc. Not a full fucking meal.
Come in more than a half hour before close, and I'll probably make you better food than anyone else there could. Anything after that is another story. You don't piss off the people who make your food. The movie Waiting really is based on true events.

If you dont want to serve food past a certain time advertise it that way then, dont be dicks about it because some one comes in 20 minutes until you advertise stopping serving food. If its such a big deal change the times you serve food until.

For what?Is that sarcasm or have you just not seen that movie? If it's the latter, you need to see it.

When I used to work at McD's we would hold food for awhile around close..basically anything but burger patties, which would explain why your food tasted old and cold. Everything else takes a minimum of 4 minutes to cook, some upwards of 7 minutes. If you think it sucks having to wait for 4-7 minutes for food imagine how much it sucks having to hear people bitch about waiting that long rather than us just serving them the shit-tastic old food that we could serve. It went both ways...serve them old food and have them hate it, serve them fresh food and have them bitch that they had to wait 4 min. Believe me, at that time of night rarely was anyone courteous enough to wait a whopping 4 minutes for fresh food...
