Guitar Hero

I just bought guitar hero 1 and 2 for PS2 but only have a ps3 and the guitars from guitar hero 3. Is there any way to make the game work with those guitars?

If your playing guitar hero 1 and 2 in your ps3 I would think the guitar would work. I think only certain models of the ps3 are backwards compatible though. (like the 60 or 80 gig versions?) I might be wrong there.

i got the 60 gig that is backwards compatible but for some reason i can not get the guitars to connect and when doing research it says because they are digital controllers and the ps2 version is analog.

this is very true that the 60gb is backwards compatible and i think that the 8 gb that just recently came out may be to but not sure... the new guitar hero will kick ass!!!!! drums now(which totally defeats the purpose of GUITAR HERO) with symbols... should be cool though... sorry for the post on a thread thas almost a month old....

Well it'd have to be depending on if theirs a sort of filter when ppl register for the site... like the dumb boxes u have to copy with letters and numbers u cant read for shit... but i dont remember what i had to go through to get on here... it was a long time ago...
