It's called 'denial'..... I never really was a fan of Favre.. But I hate the Packers as a team even worse. So, to take their MVP QB and have him play for the Vikings, that would really upset the Pack. Now given that Favre is seriously considering playing for the Vikings, he gets a little bit more respect from me.

I follow this mostly since it stirs the pot over in Green Bay...

Im neither a Vikes or Packers fan but I think it would sure stir up the drama if he went to either team. If he can come back and hold his own he could help out a few teams

BF offered to play for the packers for free when moss was on the trading block. That guy makes way more money on endorsements then he does playing in the NFL. He just wants to win. Money is the last thing on his mind. I can't imagine what the pack would want in a trade for him though. /cringe

They were asking a first round pick right away. Recent reports have put that value to somewhere in the 5th-7th round range...and if this is true, I really hope he comes to the vikings. A 5th-7th round pick is a throw away pick anyways...if he sucks just bench him and let him retire. We'll all be happy. Jackson would be a non-issue for me. Period.

Now it's looking like he may take the 10years/20mil to stay retired.

It makes no sense to try to pick him up now. He would have one year with the team, Vikings are looking for a QB they can develope, not one that will be used up in a year. Then its on to a rookie or another relic.

Likely 2 years. How do you figure thats a bad thing? We have a QB to develop and we just drafted another potential QB. If anything, it would be very beneficial for Tjack to hold a clipboard again, considering that was the plan before with Johnson.
