That is sweet. And just so you don't have to search to find the price, it is $12.99 on Itunes. Im gonna get that just for entertainment.

Just by reading the G's your car is pulling I can't see that being very accurate for hp numbers and that sort of stuff. It would be cool to have and mess around with and I would totally hit it up if I had an iPhone though.

The Gtechs are actually pretty accurate if you enter the correct vehicle weight. I'm guessing that app for the iphone and itouch need a weight input also. There would be a LOT more iphones here if AT&T didn't suck here.

i think this is probably a neat toy, but not much more than that. a big problem in making it effective will be mounting it properly and in a way that it's motion relative to the car has no slop.

why would it be more accurate than a G-Tech Pro ? You're comparing a purpose built device to a phone that happens to have an accelerometer. It may be the case that the software timer in the iphone isn't high enough resolution to calculate this stuff accurately even if the hardware is sufficient (which it almost certainly isn't)

Those accelerometer devices are surprisingly accurate even for hp numbers.
