when I lived in washington there was a place called tatanka take-out across the bridge.. how's that for respecting native religion? I made the trip to tacoma a few times just for bison burritos. You wanna know why bison were sacred? They made good damn eating.. and good clothes and tools and decorations too. Using the bison as a school mascot isn't an insult - UNLESS you're saying the school sucks. That's about it right there.
