ya, it sounds more like she pulled out in front of him, which is very possible with an inexperienced driver. people make mistakes and neither the girl or the victim should ever have to be put through an experience like this. condolences for both the girl, the victim, and everyone else this has effected.

I saw a guy doing a wheelie on his bike down 29 this summer, one of the first thing that popped into my mind was that.

Really? I know tons of people that, even if they were making a mil' per minute, would never own that overpriced piece of shit.

              Probably the guy that's dead.

              I don't know, it doesn't seem very high-IQish to give a 15-year-old, inexperienced driver a 5,500 pound vehicle.

What?!!? A dissenting opinion? The biker may not have been totally 100% at fault? Fuck that! It's always those crazy, stupid bikers.

He should've been wearing a helmet tho. -1 For that.

IDK about that, my choice will be to give my kids a tank for this very same reason.... Guaranteed, it won't be an Escalade

Just give her your 1300 hp beast. I mean, that's totally an excellent idea.

Yeah, he should have been wearing a helmet, but that was a choice he made. Most people you see riding in town, in fact, don't wear helmets. BUT, because of his choice, there's still no reason people should say he deserved it, and that it was all his fault.

Or is it my fault cause Im at the wrong place at the wrong time and I should let the guy who drives wrecklessly in traffic do his thing?

The fuck does a helmet have to do with decision making, speeding, and wheelies.

I dont know if youve ever been down 25th st., especially at 6 oclock at night...but its pretty packed

It is never the bikers fault because we all know that the majority of motorcycle riders obey traffic laws and ride defensively.

Yeah, I get it. But what I was trying to say is that the person they're really putting in danger is them self. Car vs. bike...bike will most likely lose 100% of the time. It sucks that they don't think of anybody but themselves at the time, but there's nothing we can really do about it.

You can't be serious! Just because this time it was a 6000lb SUV doesn't mean that it couldn't be someone on a bike or walking next time!

It is never the bikers fault because we all know that the majority of motorcycle riders obey traffic laws and ride defensively.

If you're being sarcastic, that's not what I'm saying. It just gets so damn old hearing people bash motorcyclists because some decide to drive like idiots. Do you know how many people don't see bikes coming down the street? Too many. Riders do have to drive defensively because of all of the drivers that decide to not take the time to check their mirrors and look around.
This guy for instance. What if he had never done a wheelie? Would people still be making such a fuss over the issue? Probably not. Whether he was on one wheel or two, the girl pulled out in front of him because she did not look before she pulled out into the road. That, or because she's an inexperienced driver, she couldn't judge how fast he was going and thought she had time to get across the road. I don't know how many times I have seen this happen or have had it done to me.
