Wasnt me that labeled it but people get carried away with anonymity and start talking out of their asses
i tagged jn210 a worthless fuck once ( or i think it was me) and that may have been a little harsh

From what I recall happening:He came off of a red light going north....he was in the front of that line of vehicles....his lane was fairly clear, hence the reason the SUV driver pulled out....not expecting him to be trying to set a new 1/4 mile trap speed record. I don't hate the fact that he rode a wheelie. I don't hate the fact that he was speeding. I do hate that he affected not only his own life, but those around him as well.
I don't hate him...he's dead, too late for that. I just hope that OTHERS can learn from his stupid mistake.
+1 I agree with Chuck.

sad thing is.... even as bad as the crash wasif he was wearing his PR suit and a helmet he could still maybe be alive or in the very least have an open casket....
I said that to a buddy today too. also, its sad that he died. imo, if he had infact been doing a wheelie on 25th at 6pm he was asking for trouble. i had a gsxr 600 and yes ill admit while not in town, i have done many wheelies on it, now, maybe it is cause im only 5'5", but, about the only thing in front of me that i could see was front wheel.(he may have never seen it coming) As for why would a 15 year old girl run away from that, could'nt be cause someones head just exploded right next to her winsdheild, could it?

In my mind they are both at a little bit of fault. The guy on the bike shouldnt have been fuckin around on that crowded of a street, and the girl should have been paying more attention. Even the girls freind couldve stopped it from happening. (not trying to say the Passenger is at fault in any way) I know as for myself, when ever i ride with some one i pay alot of attention to the road cuz i feel more at risk not being in control of the vehical. So it goes in both ways a little bit.

So let me get this straight, people pull out in front of bikes all the time because they dont see them right? So now, go at an excessive speed on a tiny ass bike, and remove the only object that enables someone to see it. Front wheel up =no fucking headlight, no headlight, you arent gonna see shit in the evening with the sun up like it was yesterday.
I am going to go ahead and say that the biker is 100% at fault, unless somehow the investigation discovers the girl was drunk, drugged or something, she had nothing to do with it. Also you people asking about sources? Who are your god damn sources? IMHO chuck is the best source of info for almost anything. Add the fact the he was right fucking there kinda seals the deal that he has more accurate info than most. And chuck says he was straight hauling ass with a compromised field of view, then he was, its the truth. No doubt the girl didnt see him or thought she had plenty of time. Judging by the pics, she damn near got across the road, meaning if he had been doing the speed limit, he wouldnt have hit her, wheelie or not.

Why would you ever wish that upon anyone?!!? What if it were you?? Or someone you knew?? You sound like horrible people when you say you hope people crash. I can understand if they're doing something unbelievably stupid, but a wheelie?? C'mon! We've all seen people do them I'm sure, and the main person they're putting in danger is themself
shit happens and people die everyday... get used to it, it will never get any better...OR, i could have just said. "natural selection at its best"..... how does that make you feel?

I got rid of the tag. There was no need for that. You are right, you are entitled to your opinion....just like everyone is entitled to my opinion as well.

I never said a biker ONLY puts himself in danger when he rides a wheelie. I just said they are the main person in danger because they're usually up against bigger vehicles. Yes, I suppose someone walking or riding a bike could get involved, but the chances are slim.wow, this quote was from page 7 of the thread, so hopefully the author has got the point by now that others were trying to make. People in the area of someone riding a wheelie (or other street-careless manner) are in just as much danger as the rider, probably even more.
Consider this....rider is going down the street on their '02 GSXR 1000, 1st gear, 30 mph.
Rider decides to wik it up and loft the front end, probably going a bit over 30 now to keep it up.
Rider loops it and sends 475lb GSXR cartwheeling or sliding into oncoming traffic or maybe towards the side walk. Bonus, on the way off the back of the bike, rider hangs onto the throttle, giving the gixxer an extra boost as it goes shooting into traffic. Maybe instead of looping out, rider puts it down and ends up in a tank-slapper, losing control.
Either way, maybe the bike hits a pedestrian, maybe the bike cartwheels into the front windshield of the driver coming towards the cartwheeling bike, maybe the car behind the fallen rider locks their brakes to avoid running over said rider, thus getting rear-ended by the car behind them. The rider is not the MAIN person in danger. They are 1 person, endangering themselves and those around them. Hell, in the case of a wheelie, the rider may be in the least danger, as they aren't going to be in front of the 475lb mass they just launched down the street.
That 1 rider endangers many and is certainly not the "main" person in danger.

/threadIt's true. Chuck is a great source for information. But after I got done reading all this, I can't seem to remember where anything (from anyone for that matter) even saw the girl do anything other than pull out. We do not know if she was distracted. We do not know anything. And no, I'm not butthurt or w/e your ass is sayin brandon. I'm simply stating the counter-facts to all you guys who just want to bitch about the biker.
Call me an asshole, call me a power ranger, call me whatever the fuck you want. I honestly don't give two shits what anyone has to call me via the interwebz. ZOMG YOUR CAN TALK SHIT TYPING.
Some people saw stuff and they stated it. The rest and MOST of this case right now is 99% PURE SPECULATION. Until the FPD releases information, none of us know shit. Yea, you saw him at a excessive rate of speed. Yea, you saw him lift his wheel up. From all of this, thats ALL you saw. TWO things. IMO thats not enough to push 100% the fault on the biker.
Ok, I'm done w/ this post.. I'm tired. I shall continue tomorrow.
Begin your flaming of me because I'm right
EDIT: Btw gary, it was what, 6pm when this happened. IMO you do not need headlights to see someone at 6PM. doesnt start getting dark until 8ish. If you can't see a motorcycle driving in the lane, you better not be driving. If you can't see that, how are you gunna see a pedestrian or a bicyclist for that matter.
