I'd have to say if there was an equivalent car driver in Fargo to compare to the dead biker in driving characteristics and retardedness it would be that badass Bonique character

IF it were you in that situation, i'm willing to bet you would have enough common sense to let the moron biker pass before attempting to cut into traffic.

At the age of 15, you don't have that much experience behind the wheel.

My .02 is the inexperience has a factor in this whether it's a small amount or a large amount, it is still a factor.

When she started into traffic, he was NOT speeding...at least not as badly. I saw her enter the road before I saw him accelerate. What is so hard to understand about this? Once she had committed to merging w/ southbound traffic it was too late for her to turn back...and her primary concern would have been merging into that lane of traffic. Even if she did see him (i'm guessing she didn't recheck as no one in their right mind starts accelerating when they see a big f'ing SUV in front of them on the road...) what were her choices? Smash her vehicle into a group of vehicles heading south and potentially killing her passenger OR pray to God the guy on the bike had time to stop. Let's see...let natural selection take over or potentially kill her friend and/or a bunch of INNOCENT people in the lane she was attempting to merge with....tough choice. Given the situation, I would have let the rider hit me as well. But hey, I'm inexperienced too...only 19.5 years of LEGAL driving experience behind me, what do I know?

I wanna know where you pulled this "80 mph" crap from? Are you just the world's best at eyeballing linear motion from over 400 feet away with buildings blocking half your view? Here's a free physics lession for you:

I'm just estimating an '04 600RR can accelerate 0-60 mi/hr in about 3.2 seconds. So, the distance from 32nd Ave to 30 1/2 Ave is about 300 feet -- give or take a bit.

Using Vf = Vi + at we can solve for his acceleration.
Vf = 60 mi/hr
Vi = 0 mi/hr (he took off from the light at 32nd heading north, as you say)
t = about 3.2 s

Converting 60 mi/hr into feet/s we get 88 ft/s --> solving the equation as 27.5 ft/s^2 or 8.382 m/s^2.

Using Vf^2 = Vi^2 +2ad we can solve for his final velocity.
Vf = unknown
Vi = 0 m/s
a = 8.382 m/s^2 from above
d = about 300 feet or 91.44 m

Solving the equation and correctly converting we get a final velocity over an estimated 300 feet as 39.15 m/s or 87.576 mi/hr. However, this is ignoring any friction and assuming he's a perfect rider -- not likely.

1st I'm not sure if the bike was a 600RR or what...if I missed that in this thread or on the news fine, but I'm not sure...so your numbers could be off a bit.

2nd you are assuming 100% stock bike. I don't know if this is true or not.

3rd Vf and Vi mean? Sorry, I'm not a physics major, but I do understand the concept or distance speed and time...and I've never had a free physics lession, is that some sort of growth?

4th maybe I'm wrong...maybe it was only 65 to 70mph or maybe it was nearly 90mph (I said this way back in this thread as well that my eye radar needs calibration...) but he was FLYING down the street either way. This is why I said ***approximately.

***I think it is funny that so many people are trusting to justify this guys driving behavior and place the blame on a girl who might have been adjusting her ipod, texting, and doing her hair all while masturbating while making out with her female passenger....in her daddy's vehicle that is too big for her to drive in the first place.

The girl wasn't paying attention. I don't give a shit what anyone does or doesn't say -- if the guy was ripping on his bike it's going to be audible in any car on the road. Unless she had the stereo thumpin' to the max, you're going to hear a sportbike at 10K+ rpm coming at you. Plus, any motorcycle bearing down head on is going to be difficult to see and judge the speed of, just because the front cross-section is so small. It's very difficult to judge the speed of a small object, especially if you're a new driver with any kind of distraction.

So, moral of the story? Don't fucking speed on a sportbike on one of the busier streets in town and pay better attention to what the fuck you're doing. You can't tell me a 15-year-old chick in mommy and daddy's big, expensive shitbox is paying attention to traffic 100%. Sorry, not gonna buy it.

Ever stood in front of a moving train heading your way? really really quiet...ever been behind one? really really noisy...same concept here.

Agreed. My point being an accident could have been stopped regardless of his idiotic behavior if she would be more experienced. More experience would tell you not to pull out in front of someone driving like this.

actually read one of my posts and you will understand what I saw happen....it could have/would have happened to any of us in those circumstances.

It's funny how another witness says something, and it gets instantly locked because this little group of people can't face facts.

So, now that another witness has came forward and basically said everything I was saying in here, you all can eat shit.

Enjoy.
