Fargostreet PS3 game 'recycle' to each other??

360s upconverter sucks. bigger tv, lower resolution, less picture quality. bigger the tv gets the more it has to stretch. it's noticable on smaller tvs but not as much so as when you start getting into the larger monitors. i couldn't tell a difference between 720 and 1080 on my old 32

There isn't much to debate on this subject. Bluray players are amazing quality picture, sound, and interface. I own a decent surround sound and an upconverting DVD player, along with a PS3. Bluray video is unbelievably superior to an upconverted video. There is no debate. Modded 360's are superior in certain aspects to the PS3, but for $400 you get not only a solid gaming console, but a bluray player (bluray players are in the $250+ range by itself). People can complain about not wanting to 'rebuy' their movies, but in 5 years, I expect 90% of movies will be in bluray. I took 285 dvd's to vidcycle and walked out with $750. I took that money, bought my ps3, and 10 dvd's/games. It was by far the best move on my part (others may feel differently). Of the 285ish dvd's I owned, I bet I rewatched....20 over a period of a few years. So I bought the 10 DVD's I knew were worth owning, and now rent movies until I find one that is exceptional in picture and sound, then buy it.

You can hate on the PS3 all day long, but arguing against bluray is simply making you look uneducated. :icon_salut:

Ya no doubt about the Blurays DVD player, dont get me wrong. The Bluray as a gaming platform at the time is fucking horse shit though. If someone was sooo hard core about watching Bluray movies...buy an actual Bluray player then. I love how PS3 fan bois always jizz over watching bluray videos...but don't have much to say about gameplay/online

I'd put money on digital content delivery being the prefered HD solution in 5 years, not Bluray...

^^^ it wouldn't surprise me but for the time being ill stick with buying bluray. only game i've played on my PS3 was heavenly sword which actually was a pretty sweet game. The graphics were some of the best i have seen on any console.

PS3s a good console it just doesn't have any game support. There has not been one game released for the PS3 that i've really wanted to play or ever considered buying.

because at the time the PS3 was the exact same price as the cheapest bluray player so i went for the PS3. One day a game worth getting might come out but untill then its just the bluray player lol
