No where local fixes rims. You would have to ship them out. I would say to just get new ones.

        PM me for:
        Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
        Diesel repairs or performance products.

If you fix them, where are they gonna crack next? I'd lose those wheels and get something else.

              How expensive are the rims?

Wheelsamerica in Chicago repairs rims (I've had work done by them twice, highly recommended) but it's not worth it unless the rims are really expensive.

ya it would not be worth it to send the rim out to be repaired.

Jim, how much did it cost?

I'm going to send some out to get refinished this winter.

It depends on the size of your rim...

im guessing they are not that expensive. Save yourself the trouble and the whole safety situation and just buy a new one...

thats what i was thinking about doing but having trouble find the rim in the same size and thats kinda the reason i was wondering about fixing it.

Nope. Youll never get the integrity of the wheel where its safe to use on the street. Like I said, if it cracked there and you fix it, will it crack again on another part? And, will it be worse next time? I have seen this before. Most wheel places if not all wont touch it as it is the main support strcture of the wheel. Just some fyi for you from experience.

Thanks Wes for the info. Kinda funny because some one on another board told me that it was still usable and he knew people who drove on rims with cracks in them with no problems but your advise sounds more knowledgeable then his.
