                  More "fail" pics. I think we figured out what happened.... it looks like the big end rod bearing on #3 spun, then finally siezed on the crank and tore the wrist pin out of the piston. After that more carnage ensued.

                                Missing in action are the wrist pin and the #3 rod cap. They must be laying on the track somewhere.

                                      The engine is back together and in the car, still assembling the other stuff, got the tranny and converter on last nite, etc.
