I don't put a cover on it, and wouldn't unless it is high quality with good air flow, moisture can get trapped between the fabric and paint and other problems. I have never covered my cars, but i always use a clean garage. Yes stabil the red stuff, and fill the tank or moisture will be in the air inside it and rust your tank.

i do what CMK said minus covering. I also run some seafoam through it before i store it to get some moisture out of the lines and such.

in the past i've stored the car in a friends barn. stabil, disconnect battery, apply car cover are all things I do. In addition, i stuff dryer sheets all over the car (interior and underhood) as apparently Mice hate the smell and won't go near a car. Otherwise Mice and other critters will figure your car is a pretty good place to setup shop for the winter. Debugging a wiring harness fault due to rodent activity is awful.

is this what you do to your ride ruthless, i noticed you have yours covered, and stabil is the stuff in the red container right? i have some that i use in the snowblower and mower.Do you fill the tank completely full also?

Yep! I fill the tank full and add the stabil stuff. You fill it full to keep the condensation down. I also change the tires for my shitty tires. I have the time to do this so it keeps the weather from cracking my summer tires. Thats just me though. 🙂

How are aftermarket wheels different than stock wheels as far as the car simply sitting on them?

That used to be a problem with bias ply tires, but with radials any flat spot that might occur will be gone by the time you are around the block. Remember, parking a car for winter is only 5 or 6 months, not years.

You should have thought of that earlier. Just put in a stock ECU and stock injectors with stock map sensor.
