Its pretty much a dumbed down version of WoW..As much as i hate saying it, WoW is a game that anyone can play, but to play it well and be able to do half of the raids/instances you need to be able to know what you are doing and have some skill to it. WoW has one of the biggest and most extensive 'universe' for any game that i have ever played. There is esentially a storyline to anything and everything in that game. That and all the cool stuff happens at level 40 so you quit way way too early.
Can't believe i just defended WoW.
Anyways, new update = tits.
If it isn't fun for the first 3 days (which it took me to get to level 30), I'm not going to give it any more time than that to get interesting....and the problem is that anyone can play it, which bores the hell out of me. It's cartoonish graphics drive me nuts. It's universe is big, but I don't think it is the biggest out there....in fact I don't think it has caught up with EQ1 in terms of sheer size.
LoTRO's graphics (IMO) were somewhere between those of EQ2 and WoW...and it utilized WoW's UI basically....which is why I don't play it anymore.
The best new MMORPG is Warhammer for me. Strategy, PvP instances, fighting for control of land, etc, etc, etc... make this game a must have for me.

What jim said, the new live experience is supposed to be awesome. Like everyone in a party watching a movie from one persons Xbox.

im not sure what the first one means so i probably wont use it, i think the avitars are a cheap knock off of the wii, and i bought my dvd player for watching dvds and my xbox to play video games, basicly there is nothing new that i would use, and all i really use my xbox for anymore is to play halo on the weekend with my buddies im not that into gaming anymore, the last game i bought was gta IV

Other than loading the games onto the hdd, the best feature so far is team chat. Wanted to chat with just teammates instead of listening to the opponents but was only able to have private chats. Now it supports team chat with more than 2 people!

^^ I like the team chat so you don't have to listen to all the little 12 years olds whine in your ear all the time. Just talk to the people you want to. The netflix is sweet, I've been catching up on my episodes of heros so I don't have to worry about actually seeing them on tv (since always busy). So far I like it, I may try out the hard drive caching tonight with forza and COD4.
