Sponsorship Opportunity
-
I am looking for 1 vehicle to sponsor this year using equipment from Atomic (head unit can be from JVC, Kenwood, Clarion, or Blaupunkt).
- No, I am not going to give you FREE parts, but I will sell to you at cost.
- You will be advertising for me, so be prepared to attend shows/events/meets/etc... with a clean looking vehicle. It does NOT have to be a show stopper, but it should be in good enough shape to be entered into a local car show.
- The install labor is on me. The materials (Fiberglass, suede, carbon fiber, etc...) will be sold to you at my cost.
- I expect a good resume and business proposal for why I should choose your vehicle and more importantly why I should choose you. A bad ass car means nothing without a competent person representing it. I will give you loyalty & support, I expect the same in return. I expect you to tell me which events you plan on attending, what your current mods are and why I should choose you over the countless other people who will apply for this.
- I don't care what make/model/year your car is as long as it's in good shape.
- Upon entering into a contract, the equipment is to remain in your vehicle for at least 1 full year before you sell it. This is not intended for you to make a quick buck on, this is an investment for both of us.
- You control how elaborate of a system you want. I'm not going to force anyone to buy something they don't want....but I won't consider a system consisting of prefrabicated boxes and the lowest end equipment available either. IOW, it is still your car to do with what you like.
Email me and let me know why you should be chosen. [email protected]
Feel free to ask any questions about it in this thread.

Buy product 1 time. System would be installed in one shot (generally speaking) but can be added to at any time during the course of the year within reason.
What makes it an investment for me? Time, energy, advertisement, etc...are things that I expect a return of investment on.
What makes it an investment for you? It's your car, your time (showing), etc...in return you receive very high end product at the same price that I as an authorized dealer would pay....and you pay nothing for labor.
If the above doesn't make sense, don't bother applying.
Faber, you can find out more about Atomic at www.atomicspeakers.com they have been making speakers for others for many years (I wanna say since 1946?) and are a proven company. They are STILL made 100% in the USA, unlike many others who have cheaped out and gone to China/Korea for their products. One or both of my Subaru's will be getting an Atomic system installed.

Atomic is every bit as good as RE Audio (I'm dropping RE for this lineup, not because re's product sucks, but their dealer support is horrible) and the entry/mid Zapco stuff. I would also put it on par with Treo.
There is no price minimum on the system. If someone comes to me looking for a single 12 and 500 watts along with a decent pair of component speakers and a good amp for them, I'll consider it.
IOW I am willing to build a simple system that performs phenomonally OR I'm willing to do a balls to the wall full fiberglass interior for someone. I actually prefer simple however as it attracts a far more realistic target audience...cuz not everyone can/will buy an all out show system.
But yes, whoever I sponsor should live near here year round.

No problem, I am not foreign to sq and would be happy to work those details out w/ whomever is selected.

I'm pretty sure gary can back up wes's claim as well.

Just saying, with the $2k in disposable income. Not only are you buying the system, yes at cost, but buying a quality product none the less. Anything you would consider as "sponsorship" and not just a set of speakers is gonna run 800 i would think, any less is just a set of speakers really. Not only that, you are committing to shows, prep time, lots of cleaning for the shows, some travel, etc.etc. If you dont have $2k in disposable income i just dont see it as being a worthwile investment for chuck. Sure you can do a $4-500 sub and amp, but if I see a tJams sticker on a car i expect to see a pretty cool box, awesome speakers and a quality amp on a nice "showy" rack maybe with some lighting.

Excellent points gary. I guess I was refering to the equipment and materials.
Wes's last system w/ 2 8's in a vented fiberglass box was really lightweight. His 12 was a lil beefier, but still not a pig by any means.
Gary, you would be a great candidate for sponsorship... Local, well known, and you get around (at least that is what the stall in the bathroom said).... Lol. Seriously though I am open to any/all inquiries from everyone.

The sooner the better, but I am flexible

Showy racks and lighting are not my thing.
I'v been debating doing a light weight, stealthy SQ system in my TA for a long time now, but no one wants to see that, right?
