Police cars here are only factory tuned. If you can do better than 180K they can't catch you, so they don't even try.

LOL well i've had 3 speeding tickets in the last 3 years and i called my insurance guy after the second to ask about it going up or anything like that and he basically said you have to get 2 within 6 months for them to try and raise it... but that could just be my insurance.... state farm ftw

I got 3 in like 8-9 months, didn't even get a warning about my license being possibly revoked. Only one showed up on my record when actually ran by my insurance. The $10 one from Devils Lake, not even my 2 big "actual" speeding tickets from Minnesota lol
I've never even been given a warning. Only tickets.

My first ticket...was clocked 102mph in a 75mph(Interstate 94)...Fergus Falls MN, going from the Wal-Mart exit to the John Deer exit, on my way home for lunch break...Fine- $385.00 also had to appear in court...that was like 3 years ago though...I don't think it's on my record (haven't noticed any difference).

A Crown Vic cruiser can do about 140, the PI stuff that they put on em allows them to safely go that fast. I'd imagine the Charger's could go significantly faster, but the Impala's can probably only do 120-130. Your R8 would destroy a cruiser till they called up the ones ahead of you.
