I ran into a few articles when I was figuring out what the heck they were. And there have been issues with people using the plates on their exotic cars because then you don't need to register and pay taxes on the vehicle. NOT the same as dealer plates. That's far from what I am saying.
Can you admit that it looks a little fishy from my standpoint? Just EXTREMELY unusual to see a plate like that on a car like that. And you wouldn't be driving a "repair" car to walmart with your gf for "testing".

You do know that M6's in this body style came out in 06 right? Couldn't it be a salvage vehicle that was repaired?
Either way, M6's are sweet, I'm not overly concerned with whatever that guy was doing.

Not brand new.. coneticuit plates on it. Me and my buddy ward were cruisin around in it last night.
His father owns a share in a dealership here in town.
Its an 06 with 34k miles on it. Black interior, nav, HUD display... Loaded.
And yess... Its ridiculiously fast. The SMG transmission is sex...

Spotted a brand new black M6 at walmart of all places. Parked in the 3rd row. haha... The guy and his wife jumped in and took off right as I walked past. It sounded absolutely incredible when he started it up and pulled off.$100k MSRP
v10 putting out 500hpEDIT: I'm a little less impressed after looking up some info on the unusual "repair plate" that he had... Basically he's abusing a loophole so he doesn't have to any taxes on his $100k car. Guess its just a doucher in a BMW.
Youre funny.... You see an exotic car and you automatically assume that the guy driving it is some dead beat who lives beyond what they can possible afford. Not always the case.
"A doucher in a BMW" you child.......

Nice triple post. 14 more and you get to sell something.

No, first i assume its a derka that cheated the system... which is usually right... But sometimes it's just a white guy (or some other nationality) and then i feel a little better..

An auctioneer/in-transit repair plate may be issued to an individual, partnership, corporation, or association, including vehicle dealers, who, in the ordinary course of business, have occasion to legally pick up or deliver a vehicle. The auctioneer/in-transit repair plate may be used to move a vehicle for repair or service, or to pick up or deliver a commercial vehicle being driven to a facility to undergo aftermarket modification.
I may be blind.. but I'm pretty sure this doesn't mean to let people test drive it while it's on a dealership lot.
Oh, and by the way dude, we are talking about Conn. or North Dakota, not Michigan.
Fail.

I don't see what's the big deal.. A guy driving a nice and expensive car, good for him. There are tons of M6s running around in Minnesota...
Perhaps some of you folks should come to Minneapolis on Sunday the 23th for Wheels of Italy...
