2010 m3 gts..wow

There has never been a 4300 lb audi A4. And i told you right in the post that the A4 started at 150hp.
I've driven small european market cars in europe on the autobahn. Have you? The 2 liter non-turbo diesel had no problem sustaining 130mph, and the 1.6l inline 4 gas [non turbo] also had no problem sustaining that speed. Infact, it hit the rev limiter in top gear.
You don't know what you're talking about.

so youre saying that no japanese car could sustain 130 miles an hour? My base model civic has done it before. Why should that impress me about euro cars? How does that make it race inspired?
You cannot deny that you said stock for stock, base model euro cars are better, but only when you have to double the price into the luxury car class?
You contradict almost everything you say and have very poor debate skills

Busting out your hidden debate skills along with your internet thesaurus for this reply.

my claims on A4's were facts, i even cited the source. proving that base model euro cars ARE NOT SPORTS CARS. i may have been wrong about the weight becuase i converted from kg to lbs in my head very quickly while doing things at work.
but now on the other hand YOUR RIDICULOUS CLAIMS include:
- that european sports cars are the majority of cars driven over japenese vehicles.
- that base model european cars, no matter how slow and gay, are still faster than ANY base model japanese cars?
- that your idea of a sports car is a 150 flywheel horsepower car that can sustain 130MPH
now besides comparing economy civics to gt4's what actual evidence do you have that european cars, THAT ARE NORMAL DAILY DRIVEN VEHICLES, would out perform on the track?

Fail.
Look at this simply
Take a base a4/328i/128i then take a base honda whatever.... or even a type r
Germans engineer things on a different level... Like I have been saying before they are able to do this because their base prices are higher.
Go talk to Honda's production team...
They do not engineer base model hondas off performance (any of you losers who think your stock hondas are fast.. I pity you). THEY ARE FUCKING ECONOMY CARS!!!!!! YOU FAIL!
German cars on the other hand, FOR THE MOST PART, are always built with some performance aspects in mind due to the fact that they HAVE TO engineer them on another level... they always keep the autobahn in mind.
Yes I am comparing hondas and bmw's/audi's....
Would you like me to compare the Lexus is250 with the BMW 328i??? It would have the same end result. Or perhaps the Acura TSX vs the audi A4 2.0t?? The outcome is always the same.
We can compare on the next level as well... Would you like me to compare the lexus IS-F and the BMW m3???
The s class mercedes vs the Acura RL
The 7 series Bimmer vs the lexus LS.....
Its always the same. The performance numbers favor the Germans. Over and over and over and over again...

bump to toolshed.... answer my questionThe ZR1 is a beast in most performance respects. Along with the GTR and the new CTS-V
There is no denying that. But like I said before... For every ZR1, GTR, and CTS-V there are 15 german cars that can do it just as good...

Those are the only to objective things you said about it, which were both wrong [and obviously so].
What reason is there to suggest you can get anything else right?
- that european sports cars are the majority of cars driven over japenese vehicles.
i never said any such thing
- that base model european cars, no matter how slow and gay, are still faster than ANY base model japanese cars?
I never said that either.
- that your idea of a sports car is a 150 flywheel horsepower car that can sustain 130MPH
Nor did i say that. Actually, my idea of a sports car is one with probably only about 150hp, but its RWD, a convertible, and only 2 seats. And its absolutely under 3000 lbs. So about the only sports car left these days would be the Miata and the Elise.
now besides comparing economy civics to gt4's what actual evidence do you have that european cars, THAT ARE NORMAL DAILY DRIVEN VEHICLES, would out perform on the track?
I don't even know what a GT4 is. Are you talking about a celica GT4 or a 3000 GT VR-4? Or something else entirely?
You are getting really bent out of shape over things you have surmised that I've said that I never did.
Here is the short version of what I said: in the US, German cars cost more because only the expensive ones come here, and those cars have a higher level of in-built capability regarding sustained high speed operation because that is a requirement in their home market. As such, they tend to be over-represented at track events in the united states compared to the more economical models from Japanese and domestic suppliers. Notable exceptions to this are the occasional few interesting japanese vehicles -- like the NSX, S2000, etc, all of which happen to be sporting purposed and cost more than the base models that people typically are talking about when one is discussing "imports".
Have you ever driven at BIR? Or anywhere, really? Did you pay attention to what stock vehicles people were driving? And what was fast?
- that european sports cars are the majority of cars driven over japenese vehicles.

Zac, stop arguing with him. Cant you see that all Euro cars are built with performance in mind. Duh. I mean read his posts, he asked up to go speak with Honda's engineers. By saying this, clearly he has a degree in engineering and has spoken to eUrO car producing engineers.
Obviously he is such a fucking toolshed and clearly blinded by his Guido like Euro cars' awesomeness.
Oh and I still lol at the fact that he doesn't realize that 'most euro cars' are fucking yugos and le cars...fucking idiot.

Did i say base model hondas are race tuned? No. Did i say a base model japanese car would smoke a similarly priced base model euro car? Yes. Its true. And im still waiting for any form of facts from your end to prove me wrong.
Maybe instead of your euro engineers designing their cars for "performance" they should design their wiring to work properly past the warranty. That would be a good start

They are too busy eating sauerkraut and wienerschnitzel to make the wiring work correctly... you should know this!
I guess the japs are too busy eating rice and hot dogs to make their cars perform on the tracks then... lol
