i appreciate the offer, but i have a realtor ready to turn my home into cash. she helped me find this place a few years ago, and she has been around the market enough to have a good idea of what is a good buy or a disaster waiting to happen. His dad does own/run one of the major companies in town so it's not like hes a punk kid trying to do it on his own.

it has nothing to do with that, but the realtor that will be helping me to sell my house has been selling/buying in this area for somewhere around 20 years. furthermore, when i was shopping for the house that i own now, she and i looked at many different places with various strong and weak points. there were 4 (maybe 5?) places we visited that were excellent choices... except for something that would have involved a significant repair in the near future, or increased the cost of ownership in the long run. these major items were things that i would not have understood without someone who knows the business and buildings.
nick and i are in a similar boat; my mother has been working in real-estate since i was in elementary school, so i asked for her assistance in determining who would be the most likely to offer the best guidance in the purchase of a new home (based on a variety of factors). having met most of the realtors that bring her business, in the end, pat (i felt) offered the best combination of knowledge and experience with an enjoyable persona.

yes, i remember seeing that sign there for a long time. i even looked at some information about it to offer an alternative to someone else who was looking. that place looked very nice, based on the pictures the realtor had posted.
actually, the color scheme was somewhat similar to 1018, painted with mainly fall and winter colors.
i imagine that most people are buying and selling to get the rebate. at this point, we're all pretty content with the place, but i'm looking to sell because i have found that there are several excellent places coming available with all of the rush. i found a couple of 4 bedroom with 2-3 bath places that are in my price range, perfect!
