    That poor car...

What shop did they have do the work? Is it just a paint job/wheels? If they said.

If I recall correctly his car was wicked clean before hand?

Body kit and that checkered 'stripe?' (not sure what you would call that exactly) meh...not so much. Paint looks really really good though. They had a great car to start with, that's for sure. I bet it was pretty easy to work with.

This is just an observation on my part.

Jeff came to this site a while back and got ridiculed quite extensively for either being a wannabe/try-to-be, ricer, punk kid. Never EVER has been taken seriously in anything he posted. Caught one hell of a lot of slack from a lot of us members for posting worthless things on here (as so many of US do). Yet, he still comes on here and tries to be our friend. He then finds out he has cancer, has to go through treatment for such, AND loses his leg in the process. Yet this kid has the perseverance to carry on with everyday life.

The kid has a dream to have his car fixed up and just like A LOT of people on here boils down to hopes and dreams. Make A Wish stepped up and made part of his dream a reality. I cannot rain on his parade. This is one tough trooper and my hats off to him. His car looks good imho and I am excited for him. Congrats again Jeff.

Yeah I agree Wes, Jeff is a good kid. Were you at the hockey game? Still kinda curious if it was just a paint/wheel job. I know he said in some other thread that they wouldn't be able to make him a drag car or something like that, which makes sense, but I have seen/heard of a lot of times they will sometimes rebuild the stock motor...or w/e.

Actually, I like the car better in that picture than I did on the news. Looks less ricey to be honest..and more clean. It almost is like the stock style body kits that they had on some Z31s? Looks extremely well done...when do you get a turbo now??

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Will, I think it is as you thought. But, it is a start. The hard stuff is done now. Even if it isnt made to be terribly fast, he can do some tasty coilovers, phat wheels and maybe some ice in the future as his finances allow. Obviously, we all want some speed as well and maybe he can get that sometime too.

Well thanks guys, I guess this was all planned like 5-6 weeks ago so everyone had to keep their mouths shut and did a pretty good job, I just about had a heart attack when I saw it! The make a wish guy called me this morning to try and break the news to me early and I was too tired to actually get what he was saying haha. I am in love with it, idc if anyone doesnt like it, I love it. Paint is beautiful when you actually get close to it and look at it. no door handles, they pop open with an electric push button key-chain. Really nice interior. I did wonder if there was going to be a thread on here about it and yup lol. thanks for being supportive guys, I know I havnt really posted the most entertaining shit ever but we all do that. I dont get to take it home just yet because amazingly the shop isnt done yet, they are gonna do some suspension work and possibly some engine work too, next spring when we meet up at tintmasters one night you guys will have to take a closer look at it. I will get some pics uploaded here soon too.
