Aeroquip Push-lock is a cheaper alternative from cell/tank to the engine bay. It is a very durable hose.

I have a Weldon 2035. Pressure started dropping at about 1250 rwhp at the track. I added my old Accel DFI pump that I used on the Cobra. It flows about the same as the 2035. They aren't too bad if mounted properly. Here is the video of the Weldon that was bolted right to the car with no isolators.

If I can make room I am going belt drive this winter.. I don't like the idea of two pumps.

I have -12AN line from the fuel cell to the pump, then -10AN from the pump up to the engine bay, I have a Y-block in the engine bay where it splits to two -8AN lines and each -8AN line goes to an end of the fuel rail. I got the Weldon 2040 regulator.

          thanks

Any of you heard good or bad about these pumps?

                    FWIW

I have been using that exact pump for the last 2 years. It is a great pump, I had one issue with it overheating, but after sending it in and them fixing for free its been flawless. It was 95 when it overheated, i havent heard of such problems with other users though. There was older style wear plates in there that expanded and locked it up when overly hot.

I have a 74micron pre filter and a 40micron post filter. I have part #'s if you want and it will save you money buying direct rather than through a vendor.
-8feed and -6 return (Stainless all the way)
Line runs in one rail across the front through the other, out the back, and into the magnafuel fuel pressure regulator.
Depending on your power goals you may want to increase line sizes.

thanks for the info! glad to hear you have had good luck with it.

I already picked up my plumbing supplies sadly 😞 ... got a magnafuel 74 micron and 10 micron filters... and the big magnafuel 9950 regulator with -8 return

some of you may think i am retarded but i plan to run my regulator in the back of the car....going to run a high static fuel pressure and un-referenced.

I like the simplicity in the engine bay with no fuel plumbing there... i will see how it works like that, i can always change to referenced

will be -10 to the pump... -8 to the FPR.... -8 from FPR up to the front rail... and a -8 return from the FPR right to the tank

-8 will support 1k hp.... I am not crazy like some of you guys so it will suffice 😉

IIRC most gm stuff is all now 58 psi

I will probably start at around 65-70psi (the injectors i got are supposed to be great and happy at high pressures)

if i run into heating the fuel too much i will stick a cooler in the return line because there is alot of room back there

vette guys make as much power as i want on stock fuel lines with the stock unreferenced FPR in the back so i dont think i will have any problems at boost levels less than 15psi

all i will have going forward is one -8 right up to the rail...

rail will be modded like this with the addition of a -8 feed...(with stock feed cut off flush and plugged, though still acting as a cross over)

gas or korn? ls1 intake or ls6? seen the fuel system thing done a whole buncha times, but why not boost reference it? 15 lbs on 370 in LS motor is a pile of power, 60s def wont cut it on korn with no boost reference... just my experience. The higher pressure you run on your pump, the faster it runs outta steam (exponentially) you probably know this, but fyi. If you are on gas, you wont get your fuel trims to settle on 60s at 65-70 base FP. If it is reference @ 58 it will work (50 psi @ idle) On E85 that set-up runs out about 560 (procharged, prob about 600+/- turbo)to the tire on a returnless. IIRC, that set-up is good for low 700s on gas.

Plan was to make what power i could support on the 60's and be able to go to a bigger injector like some high imp. 90's or more... but already have the rest of the system ready to support some more hp.

send me your vette regulator, i was just gonna order one but ill buy your old shit instead, and any of your old FI line.
You are gonna need injectors anyway and it will work fine running non referenced if you want, doubt you will ever take that car over 10psi anyway, it will be about undriveable. I ran my 65#ers out at 16psi on my buick on gas at 70psi base pressure and you know how fast that was, corn none of my fuel system would go over 12. You can get FIC high imp injectors (ball and seat, the good ones) as big as you want now so that wont be an issue

Zack, before you get carried away, what torque converter are you running? Any mods to the th350?

                                    Thanks for the pointers Andy.

It will be run on e85 and this is on a ls3/l92 topend

maybe i will run a reference line right away then, what you say makes sense

Plan was to make what power i could support on the 60's and be able to go to a bigger injector like some high imp. 90's or more... but already have the rest of the system ready to support some more hp.

This thing is coming to you to get tuned so any ideas or criticisms are greatly appreciated on fuel and other aspects....

it just has a summit converter right now, It will allow me to see how this acts first so i know what kind of good stall i want once I see how the car acts

Th350 is nothing special... just good clutches and bands

that is no biggie, they are cheap, and i have Schmidt in dickinson... they know how to build the th350/400's and PG's right

best thing i did was get rid of that 4l60
