Well, I sent out an invite to several of the bigger classic car clubs/car show organizers as well (Stan Orness from Devils Run, as well as Valley Vintage and Toppers). They have assured me they will pass the info along to their members/contacts so hopefully we can have a good mix of import, domestic, classic & muscle cars at this event.yeeeah, I have a sneaking suspicion the lot is going to be full...

Depending on how dirty/muddy it is, we should be discerning on what cars park on concrete and which ones get the dirt, if needed.i call dibs on the mud!

As far as parking goes.... Its going to be first come, first serve if Im not mistaken. There's more room for parking there than one may think. IF IT'S ORGANIZED. I took a look around the back on Monday and it's not terrible back there. As long as the trash is somewhat picked up, its not too bad.

Here is the info I got from Stan Orness (Devils Run).
Hi Chuck,
Thank you very much for the invite!!! I will try to make your event
and if you do not mind I would like to pass the information on to other
Classic Car owners.
I am sure you already know about Devils Run but will take a moment
to plug that event. The past few years we have had around 1,000
participants, we do set aside an area for sport compact cars, we also set
aside an area for under 21 participants, we will have a dyno here this year
and have a SCCA Autocross event. To view a complete Devils Run schedule go
to http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/events/2010/2010MasterSchedule.pdf
We both know the future of Devils Run and many other shows is
limited unless we can cater to and work with all age groups.
Thanks again,
StanTrust me when I say this guy is on our side as far as integrating car types of different genre's into a common show. I just ask that if/when the classic cars show up we all treat them with the same respect that we'd like when we attend shows catering to classic/muscle cars.

Hey have a question for all. Weather report states that Saturday is going to be 55 degrees and cloudy. We need to make it pleasant for all who attend. If the wind is high it could get chilly. Any ideas on keep the spectators warm? This doesn't mean stealing a hobo's fire barrel. Shane...could people bring there home fire pits to the parking lot. It might be nice to congregate around the fire, talk cars and eat food. Any other ideas? People will most likely have a car there to sit in but what if you don't. For those who have cars there, don't worry about the ashes it is going to rain the next day anyways.
