thats the g/fs car...i dont have any pics and im hoping to upgrade to a more powerfull GM quad 4. mines the slowest of the DOHC quads.

Neutral dropping is good for one thing......breaking your transmission. Don't do it.

With your situation, you would want to try holding the brake to the floor, then, as quickly as you can, move your foot to the gas and put it to the floor. This will "flash" the stall converter and hopefully help your 60 foot time.

I don't know if your car has any type of hand controls on it for the gas or the brake. If it does, you could engage the brake, and at the same time, floor the gas. When the light goes green, let of the brake completely.

If they are available for your car, you can replace your stall converter with one that has a higher stall speed. It will allow you to rev your engine higher on the starting line when you are on the brakes at the same time.

I can kinda hold the brake and the gas at the same time, but it only revs up to 2300 rpms or so and squats down lol. so im guessing the point at which it stops raising my rpms is the stall point?
