Apt building fire in S. Fargo

nothing to do with it, i had a great childhood. People are just weak now, my grandparents were ashamed of how weak and powerless the average person had become. I was taught not to be that way because of that very problem, guess thats why i liked being in the military so much. Shit happens, if your stupid enough to not have insurance you deserve the agony; some people have to get fucked over to learn things, that is the nature of darwinism

lol @ actually having a spine makes us "pussy ass bitches". there was a lot of personal, and likely a lot of irreplaceable items these people lost. what is money going to do to solve those losses?

LOL, what a bunch of pansys. If you have your own place, you are obviously grown up enough to do the adult thing and get insurance. Im sure anyone in that building has a car and a $100/month cell phone bill that they are never late on. If they dont bother with $80-$100/year then fuck em, everyone these days want a god damn hand to hold. Grow the fuck upOh stfu gary. Sorry i don't make it my job to go around calling people who i don't know fucking retarded for the fact they may or may not have lost everything they own. So that makes me a "pussy" or a "weak person"? You need to get your head out of your ass. Real classy individual you are.

god some of you kids are weak, boo fucking hoo. If my apartment burned i would have $20k in my pocket, would be a pretty good day IMHO. What do you think happened 50-75 years ago when you were 16 and had your own farm to manage? If it burned to the ground you started over, didnt cry to everyone about being non or under insured. Pussy bitches are one of the biggest problems, its un-nerving how effeminate society has becomeSo you must have every peice of cothing, electronics, furniture, dishware, and everything else in your home inventoried with serial numbers and with receipts stored in a fire proof safe? If you don't, you have some nerve talking shit here.

I dont have to have everything itemized, just take pictures to memorize what I had and get full purchase price back.

Grr is a fucking loser /thread.

Insurance is cheap. Theres no excuse to not have it. It sucks that people lost things that are irreplaceable but thats a different story. The focus is on the fact that if you didnt have insurance you deserve no sympathy for any financial hardship or where youre going to live.
You do not need an itemized list of anything for a total loss claim on your insurance (or any claim), at least i know i dont. All you need is a list or pictures for you to remember what to include. Id be pumped if i got to make a total loss claim on my renters.
When you have things of value, you insure them. Its common sense and its called being responsible. You have nobody to whine to if you lost your flat screen but couldnt afford a few dollars every month to protect it. Priorities

i have renters insurance for a set amount. Basically i say how much i want to be insured for, and then my premium is based on that. So i say, i want insurance for 20k worth of shit, and they say, here is what you pay.

Not to derail the thread (joking) but does anyone have an update on what is going on at the building... how bad the damage was and what not. Curious, since coverage was all over the place when it was burning but there hasn't been much since. Just wondering if anyone got hurt or whatnot. Had some friends that used to live there, glad they got out last year.
