+1 for Progressive. Good work and low prices.
-1 for Quality Auto. My friend damaged a factory turbo-charged car, and they completely ignored the intercooler piping. Hello another $450 in parts, and convincing the insurance company that the repair shop didn't complete their work.
+0 for Advanced Auto. Wayne strikes me as either easily annoyed, or not a good customer service person.

+100 for Advanced. Have had an excellent working relationship with them over the past 4 years. I usually deal with Neal. He is by far the nicest and most understanding autobody guy I know 🙂

definately agree with your comment about wayne! he thinks he owns the place.............but they are the cheapest (price wise) in town and usually wont make you pay the deductable.

no, it all really depends on your insurance company i'm guessing.... I have nodak mutual and they have thier own appraisers, I went to a couple different auto body shops, quality auto body quoted me like 2500, advanced auto body quoted me 1300. My insurance appraiser came out and appraised it at 1600.

I got it fixed for $1300, got a check in the mail for the $300 extra quoted, and i was supposed to have a $500 deductible, but never had to pay it.

Wayne berated me and they refused to work on my car last time. I had been happy with them before that. They basically told me that they did too much business with the company representing the guy who hit me to be willing to fight that company's bullshit estimate and fix my car properly.

So it's been a year and my car still isn't fixed.

I had always went with Advanced because thats who valley refers work to. Now looking for someone who can do equivalent or better work on european cars...

European cars is the clincher. Since they're on the same payroll, it just makes sense that Valley Imports would recommend Advanced; much less worry about communications issues, etc. Eurofan recommends Fargo's Finest, so that might be where I go when I get smashed the next time.

If you need the absolute highest insurance quotes in town, go to Quality Auto Body or Gateway Nissan and they give pretty high quotes. I had a spoiler painted at Quality Auto once, paint was nice but it was pretty pricey for something that already had primer on it.

My last 2 quality experiences have resulted in not being very satisfied, had to bring the vehicles back once or twice.

I have been very happy with the work Progressive has done on my families vehicles over the last couple years.

                                PM me for:

                                Diesel repairs or performance products.
