Charge a nominal fee and have some of/all of the proceeds go to the winner. Then you'd see the guys who know what their car can do run their cars as consistently as they can and have something to race for?
I know bracket racing isn't the "fun" way to race, but it really puts the pressure on the driver to be consistent and it levels the playing field.
Just a thought.... I obviously have no control over what track does for events, just adding an option to the conversation.

Brackets or an Index class might be interesting, but that of course means having someone willing to run it.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall

Consistency wasn't exactly my strong suit, lol... But I'd still be down for some heads up racing against other 14.xx cars. Make it cheap enough for us rooks, $10 buy-in maybe. -
