Aftermarket Intake
-
I have read on a lot of Ranger forums its damn near pointless to get a aftermarket intake because there is little or no difference? Opinions? My friend doesn't think this flex intake pipe will last long. Opinions? http://www.ebay.com/itm/230815554574?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_4509wt_1165

You would notice more of a performance gain by taking off the camper shell than you would by adding an intake. If you do decide to waste money on something that will net .5hp just make sure that you don't cheap out on the filter. A good quality filter such as a K&N or an AEM will not deteriorate as quickly and will also provide more protection.

the topper helps with fuel economy because of the aerodynamics and its light i can lift the thing with one hand its made of fiberglass just like the complete rear end of my pickup is all fiberglass, i see i was just gonna order a intake kit online at ebay for 15 bux and keep the orginal intake pipes but maybe ill just stick with stock
