I thought it was closer to 30% with E85?

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

      Yeah, so 63 x 1.3 = 81.9 unless I'm doing the math wrong...

Yeah, sorry, I was posting quick at work lol I was thinking just adding 30% more duty cycle for some reason...but obviously that's not how it works haha.

Been a while since I updated... Flashed the 7th tune revision and pulled some logs today, but found a boost leak at the TMIC>MAF hose connection. Got it all sealed up and will pull new logs tomorrow. I was hoping to be well into my e85 tune by now :icon_scratch:

Installed a stock grill and a ProClip mount since the last post.

Pulled logs on revision 9 the other day, hopefully we're close...

A few guys mentioned another tuner when I was out at Tintmasters - any idea who that might have been? It was someone other than Nuke or RS. I'm thinking it might be worth a roadtrip for a road/dyno tune for e85.

Tune is finally DONE! Revision 10 is the final. I'll re-tune for e85 sometime this summer, possibly at RS Motors.

I am not sure who this tune would be. Nuke or RS would be the places I would go. I know Bullwinkle on MNSubaru does tuning; however, he doesn't do a lot of it anymore, and I don't think he tunes E85.

                  PM me for:
                  Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                  Diesel repairs or performance products.

I called a local e85 distributor a couple weeks ago and confirmed they had switched to the summer blend, but I should go get a sample somewhere and test it.

Dyno tune scheduled for the 16th! Ronnie @ RS has been a little tough to work with on communication, but I think he's the best one to do the tune.

Couple things to accomplish before then - boost leak test, new spark plugs & a turbo blanket. Also, I finally got the passenger side axle replaced (3 weeks ago), no more grease flung on the hot DP! Was easier than expected, I bet I could do the next one in 45 minutes.

                        Update:

Figured out the name of the tuner I had heard - it was Shane@DB Performance. Went to RS anyway due to their specialty in tuning subies.

Since the last post I've done a couple things. Swapped the CNT downpipe for a Cobb - higher quality and the cat is in the midpipe section instead of under the TMIC. Added a PTP turbo blanket too.

Had some issues with the tune on the dyno, but finally got it figured out over email today. Really happy. Nice and smooth and making tons more power than my re-scaled gas tune. I just wish I had a dyno number to back it up. FWIW (not much) the Cobb AP dyno says 329 awhp & 347 ft-lbs. Seems a bit high to me but nevertheless E85 is the shit.
