Um, mods didn't have the power to do so. At least THIS mod didn't.
Anyway, there's a few other members that had as much, if not more influence in that than those mentioned.
There was a time span when it seemed to be a free for all on here that contributed to some of this but, that's not all of it. Peoples lives and priorities have changed as well.

There are plenty of other ppl that did the same if not worse stuff then we ever did... Nobody really does anything with cars around here anymore, well at least not near as much as the past. I've noticed a lot of other forums being just as dead, MNSC used to have 10-20 pages of updated threads a day, now maybe a cpl threads have a couple posts.

There's probably less posts a month in here than most of us would each have in a day.

Well, we can change that. Most of us still talk to each other all the time. It's just usually on FB or via text. Nothing wrong in posting here.
