Dave, if I remember right your biggest complaint is the soy and wasabi mixed together tasting like battery acid. You don't HAVE to put wasabi in your soy sauce, I know plenty of people who eat sushi w/o any wasabi.

Some of it was the battery acid that they put on the stuff, but some of it was the meat also. I got it down by cutting it into small pieces and swallowing it. Chewing it was just nasty.

I love sushi, the good places in town ship in fresh every day. Which is why its rather expensive.
