    Hey guy's I'm picking this up Sunday. 96 Firebird was a v-6 5speed car. I know it need's work but the price was right. I would like some suggestion's on part's for it. Plan's LS motor and thinking 6speed transmission for now till I turn it into a race car.

      hope you paid like 2 grand or less for it. you can buy v8 birdbirds for 4-5000

      no race car? becuz homeowner...

        I got it for cheap. It's just a rolling shell with title. I already found some of the part's i need to fix it.

            I like the idea of a big block. But i will agree with you Dave on the twin turbo's. Twin turbo was my original plan for it

                That is a awesome looking motor. But i'm going to go with a destroked 6.0 with twin turbo

                  Got a lot done on this car picked up a 4.8 for now going to use part's out it when i build the new motor, picked a th-400 for cheap and it work's. Bought an aje racing k-member, picked up a used umi th-400 trans crossmember that had to get modifed to fit the car.
