I did drive that car once and I had a Blast, It was pretty nice when it was pearl white too..

sorry it has taken so long (in terms of page length, not time) to respond... but as to why i'd rather have my saturn than a 3g eclipse: i think the new eclipses look like crap, plain and simple. not only that, but they are quite slow, even the v6 models. i don't pretend my car is fast, but it's quick enough for what i need most of the time, and it handles really well (no joke, the suspension is really nice).
purely on principle, i wouldn't accept a free car that i despise unless i had the freedom to sell it... which obviously wouldn't be the case if it came from family and i happen to be <18

i'm neutral about the appearance of the sl series saturn, but i abhor the 3g eclipse

because you like the 3g eclipse, then that situation worked out in your favor, didn't it? i don't see any place where i said that you should have turned it down, i just declared that i would have because i don't like them, unless there would be an option to sell it or trade it in right away.
