Hello.... Newbie here
-
I'm definetly going to try and make it there. I am upgrading my rear end now as I want to stick with the IRS and not break it. I am looking to buy a truck now, becuase I don't want to put a ton of miles on my car. I might be upgrading the fuel system and getting the S/C ported and another retune.... maybe nitrous. I dunno. The 03/04 Cobra internals seem like they can handle a lot and I seem to get greedy. My wife really wants to race it, and will do so here in Minot, soon.
thanks for all the compliments! Your cars are pretty sweet. 94NDTA-F-bodies aren't my favorite, but I checked out your car and it's freakin clean! Nice.

Thanks for the compliments.Nitrous? you don't want any of that, it's bad for your car ;). Porting your s/c? man, nevermind then. I might be able to out launch you, but I can't compete with that.
Looks like I just need to keep saving for my stroker. -
These cars are so freakin easy to mod. All the stuff I have done, I did by myself in my garage. (Well, I used a lift for the exhaust.) Nitrous is super safe in these cars as long as it is tuned right. The main thing keeping me from doing that is drilling holes in my floor. I may just save up and get a Kenne Bell 2.2L. Everything I need for that is about $5G's, but will make awesome power. I probably won't touch the engine itself for the next ten years. (Or til Monday when Ford FINALLY shows the 07 Cobra at the auto show, and I have to try and keep up with it.

A KB upgrade would be friggen sweet. Someday I will hang. It just needs more money. Might want to think bout getting some slikcs while your modding it, or some DRs. -
Sweet pony, welcome to fargostreet

John changes mustangs like he changes his underwear.
We never knew what car he was in at the beginning of every year when we'd race in Minot.

-
welcome to the street...nice cobra very pretty

-
It's OK John. When you come down you'll have Ricky and we'll introduce you to Schell. You three can have your own boosted mustangs circle jerk.

Ever look into just putting a big turbo on there instead of a s/c?
I have seen REALLY BIG #'s off of turbo'd Cobras.
-
yah more domestics! Welcome, you spend any time in Fargo?
-
No turbo for now. I am happy with the car as it is.... for now. The Whipple or KB setup would be something I could just bolt on in my garage. Plus, they can put out more than enough power than I can handle. I was actually saving up the $$ and getting ready to put a turbo on my 98 Cobra, but decided against it and put the money down on this car.
I spend very little time in Fargo, but I am looking for a girlfriend, so I can make trips down there and get away from my wife...
Just kidding. My wife and I want to get out of Minot a little more this summer, and want to hit up Sabin. For some reason, she wants to race this year.
I used to have a SHO, it saved my life when I got into a pretty bad wreck. 93 auto, comfortable, and fast. Liked it a lot.
-
You got any parts left from the SHO? what does your wife drive?
