Whats the fascination w/ oddens rod shop? No offense, but I've seen some of their cars and while they look nice I've yet to see one w/ what I'd call a show quality paint job (hard edges on painted on graphics, minor imperfections, etc...) Their cars look nice, but for true show quality I'll go with http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/blackmagic/default.htm any day.
so ur saying scotts eclispe and tonys s2k are not real show cars -
a real show car IMO is something thats has hardly any stock parts.....all fiberglassed interior, subs, tv's all that, and with a badass exterior, like paint, airbrush, air ride, shaved everything, molded everyithng......those are the nice cars......look at some of the cars at Nopi, or Sema.

Kustom Koncepts (277-1675) does tons of helmets. He's in the same parking lot as my old shop in WF.
As far as show cars go. There's a big difference between what Fargo people think show cars are and what true show cars are. There are 0 import cars in Fargo right now that i would consider full blown show cars capable of national awards. There are some very nice cars but none fully done to a full show car status IMO. Like Schell said a body kit and a paint job doesn't make it a show car.

Show cars get the trailors. Balla style

if you want to win a national show......or have a nice enough car to get a national place in a national show....you have to put atleast 50k into it.

Any car w/ a $5000 paintjob is gonna have ZERO chance of winning a big show. Any daily driver is not going to win the big shows. Nothing against Oddens, but you get what you pay for there...a $4-5K paintjob...nothing more nothing less.

I would also vote for Kustom Koncepts in West Fargo.
Jeremy is a good guy and very good at what he does.
