      I have been wanting to re-build a sohc vtec engine for my old civic that will become my winter DD.

      Edit: Oh yeah instead of D why not go B 😄 ?

        from what ive heard a b16 swap is a waste of time and money

        At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

          I have heard the same thing about the b16. But the b16 has a lot more potential. Which i would like, but cant afford a b16 at the moment.

              B16s are alot less than B18s. If i had the money for a b18 i would do it.

                  screw that, im not only for speed, i want a really nice show car too. Civics are really easy to make into show cars

                      Building a show car is a bit more expensive then you would like to think.....just take a look at ground assault.

                        ^^^ well said, ground assault's civic has about 25K put into it. That hurts the pocket book!

                                its not too expensive, as long as you know ppl like me who can get you stuff whole sale, and only go show. Ogormans Civic, and ferdets car are both show and go.

                                    getting the parts is the cheap part...its having the experience and know how to put them on by yourself successfully that gets expensive.

                                          Having a car painted right is whats gonna cost the big $$. You cant do no Mayco job on a "show car". If you take a car to a body shop to have a full color change done right your looking @ an easy $4000+ paint job.
