If you like to hear yodelling (sp?), then you are correct. 😉

Country music definitely puts more emphasis on the vocals than rock generally does. I can tolerate some of the newer country music, but I wouldn't play it if I have another choice.

Since when is that older country? Always considered older country to be Hank Williams Sr., Mel Tillis, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, etc.....

Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson were some of the first to do the crossover type music that attracted the pop crowd to country.

I guess I should say that I also am a fan of NIN (at least the older Pretty Hate Machine and Downward Spiral albums), Chingy, Twista, World Class Wrecking Crew, Disco Construction Production, Easy E, Eminem, 2Pac, Notorious BIG, Lil Kim (she makes me laugh), Too Short, ac/dc, megadeth, anthrax, pantera, Korn, Staind, 3 Doors Down, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Dead Kennedies, Del The Funky Homosapien, Lil John, Maroon 5, Outkast, Jay Z, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Joan Osborne, Run DMC, Beastie Boys....well...lots of different stuff really.
