Just got back into town from Devils Lake, was a pretty good time.

Best of Show went to Steve Edwards, owner of Roadsounds, with his 2003 Hummer H2.
Best Honda/Acura went to Fradet w/ his Integra
Best Engine Bay went to Chuck w/ his WRX
Best Non Honda/Acura went to Steven w/ his Evo
Best Car Audio/Interior went to Steve Edwards w/ his Hummer
Best Non Wild Paint went to Tufte w/ his IS300
Best Wild Paint went to Fradet w/ his Integra

Veritas Racing Award went to Tufte w/ his IS300

That is all I can remember. Also best bartender award goes to the dude @ Thirstys. A few of you know what I mean hahaha.

Also congratulations to NZ Customs. 3 for 3 in the "non wild" paint category.

          1st was Tufte
2nd was Justin w/ the blue Civic
and 3rd was Collins w/ the del sol.

Taken about 100 feet away too. But I saw a rare opportunity when there wasnt ten million people around the cars and touching it, so I took it.

I had to say though, there were a bunch of people pissing me off there. Letting there kids basically rub right up against cars, people bending over cars letting their jacket buttons drag on the paint, people going up to one car and honking the horn, other people who were taking pictures I seen would go up and close peoples doors and hoods to take a picture. Get the feeling that if I show there next year I will need to sit and gaurd my pickup with the hot shot.

I went there today, and I know some of the cars that were there on Saturday werent there, was there more imports there or was what I saw today it? Seems like there were more there last year.

from what I remember here's the 2nd/3rd places in the above categories as well

Honda/Acura= 2nd Redwings (Civic Hatch...dunno his real name...he's on NA and maybe this site)
                  3rd Del Sol (Ground Assault...again, I'm bad w/ names)

Engine = 2nd Stephen Bradley (Evo)
                  3rd Tony Staiger (TSi)

Non Acura/Honda= 2nd Chuck Schwan (WRX)
                  3rd Tony West (350Z)

Car Audio/Interior= 2nd Rostam Simhai (Green Civic w/ 15" In dash monitor)
                  3rd Jerome Koble (Mazda 6)

Non-Wild Paint= 2nd Blue Civic (Ground Assault...I really need to get to know more of their names)
3rd White Del Sol (Ground Assault..again...names....)

Wild Paint= 2nd Oddens Rod Shop (lowrider pickup...dunno year)
                  3rd Elisa Thompson (Jeep)

There were some lowrider awards as well...I don't know any of the names and can't remember much about them...I know 1st place went to the black lowrider w/ the tilt bed

Veritas Racing award is the "True Pick". It is awarded to the car we feel is most deserving in the show, not necessarily the "showiest" or fastest...just a well done, nice vehicle that flows smoothly. Tufte earned it.
