Well I got my car back(FINALLY) and now I need to start tuning it in alittle better. my turbo seems to only wanna boost to about 4-5 pounds on the gauge and I can't hear my BOV at all. Nothing has really been tested yet since it all got put in. It my 90 probe gt all factory cept the intercooler, piping and BOV. I'll be up in minot for two weeks here so if you guys could give me idea's as to what to check for while I have my car up there. as I won't be able to see the forum anymore.
    Thanks.

ohh and if you guys remember my post about my deck getting stolen, it looks like the grand total was the Deck, my factory shift knob, and a bunch of shitty wal-mark speaker wire. made me laugh to see my pile of shitty wires missing.

you will need a boost controller in order to boost more! I saw you at mcdonalds on main. wondered if your car was working. what was wrong with it?
THe boost controller i sold with the car was in the car.

You should check for vacuum leaks. How much pressure is lost through the intercooler and pipes?

yeah, I have the boost controler you sold me in it but not tuned in at all just hooked up. and it turned out to be a wire on the turbo I didn't have hooked up. goodyear threw it on the computer and found it right away, guess it took them maybe 20 minutes and a 60$ diognostic fee. so nothing big. car seems to run great now, just doesn't wanna boost. maybe I can meet up with you fri or sat joel and you can show me exactly how to tune that, being as I've never used one before. I know generally how it works but have no practical experience. but all in all the car runs nice.

I guess I didn't look to see how much presure was lost through the intercooler and pipes, I'm sure it's some, but I can't afford a new turbo yet, so I guess if I lost it all there I'm out of luck.

Sorry to be the one to break the news, but there are no wires that hook up to a turbo.

Thats kinda what I was thinking but thats what they told me, and the car runs fine now. They told me it was a "turbo intercooler wire" which sounded kinda fishy to me, but I guess it runs now and it didn't when I brought it in to them, so I'm not complaining.

Actually, I say if someone told you to pay them $60 to fix a turbo intercooler wire and you did. Keep going there!!!!

I think you are low on Boost Fluid. That is what it sounds like to me. My Talon was low on Boost Fluid and it would only boost about 5 psi or so. Then I filled it up and now I am running 17 psi.

So is the right next the blinker fluid then?!? Come on, you really dont need to mess with a guy that much, give some credit to him for trying to work on his car, trying to learn about turbo engines..... i know ur messing with him, it was kinda funny at first, but when a guy have a real problem, its just nice to help a guy out rather then to fill him full of bullshit...

WOW I was way off, I was thinking it might be a muffler timing belt or possibly even my vavle cover adjustment screw.

Honestly I did get a good laugh from reading those posts but they didn't really help me any. Guess I might be on my own here, but thanks to those of you who gave real advice. and i agree with you all about what goodyear told me, but hey the car ran great after whatever they did. so I wasn't complaining about that.

Turbo intercooler wire, dude, I am going back to that shop with you, and asking the same mechanic who fucked u over what his deal is. and what they actually did to fix your car. it might have been you o2 sensor(only electrical wire that even goes near the turbo). other than that, Take that boost controller off til we find out if its closed or not. If its really high, you can damage your car badly. give me a call, and we'll get this shit taken care of
