Alot of wheel gap that's all. You need at least 17's to fill the gap properly. The wheel design is fine and I too have proxes on my ride. But if your gonna go through all the work to body kit a car, I would definatelly put a lowering spring and up-size the wheel.

Maybe its the picture but I do have 17's on my car. Its prolly just because of the small tires and the wheel gap. I'm going to lower my car but I wanted to do this first. It will be done sooner rather than later though. Thanks for the reply.

I honestly didn't think a body-kitted Alero could be pulled off... but yours is looking pretty good. I agree with with wheel-gap comments. I would add to this suggestion that you do not have to totally slam the car to get it to look even better. just my $.02

I'd definetly lower it and with a car as massive as a alero go with atleast 18's id say 19's with low pro toyo prox.. it seems like in the pic that you have a midpro .. i had a achieva with 19's and low pro prox.. with eibach lowering springs and i liked it and looked good for as good as an achieva can look .... still have the springs if they fit your alero you can suy them just reaserch it alittle they fit are on a 96 2-door achieva

well johnny boy, you saw the Stratus, those are 18''s and the key is to get some tire in there. The it doesn't look so bad.

I like it. I like to see cars done up that aren't the 'norm'. I was real big on doing up my grand am when I first got it but it's got over 211k miles and wouldn't really be worth it now so now I'm lookin for my car I originally wanted (5th Gen Prelude). I do agree on the wheel gap like everyone else said but you know that by now. You don't necessarily have to get a bigger rim. Just get more rubber. Maybe a 45-50 series tire would help?

I'll be honest first, I despise Grand Am's and the Alero is simply a rebadged GA with different front and rear...but your's looks good with the kit, clean. I agree with those saying it needs to be lowered but I wouldn't go with a larger overall tire/wheel package unless you want it to look good but be dog slow.
