Not to be an ass....but, its still gonna be a neon. (I have reasons for hating neons, used to own one.....NEVER EVER EVER EVER again)

He was at the track with the Neon.....anyone know what it's best time was? I think I saw low 13s.

He ran 13.1 @ 111 I believe on street tires. He pitted with us all weekend. Good guy.
He said hes gonna try and get out there with some slicks for the next one.

We went at it from a roll once....I was just barely creeping away from him, BUT his tires also broke loose when he spooled...

When we stopped at taco bell I talked to him a little bit...really cool guy

I believe he mentioned someting about a 13.0 by the end of the day.

any guesses about the turbo? to be putting down 250ish at 12psi, some tdo5? it's got room for a lot more power before he upgrades much
EDIT: just read his mods more closely, 20g, so size wasn't far off. he would just need more tuning and a better launch to reach 12.0 or lower. with such i high speed and time, it looks like he's got to be around 2.2 for his 60 ft

ya this car is fast i saw him out at the track on the 6th and 7th. That is one hell of a sleeper for sure.

Yeah, Wayne is a really nice guy. He never talks crap about his car. He is just a very avid car enthusiast. My wife and I were out at Sabin with him and his wife on the 7th. His best run was was a 13.18 on street tires. The engine in that car was built by the owner of Hahn Racecraft, so there's no questions about the quality of his setup. It truly is one of the best sleeper cars in this area. You gotta have respect for a neon that fast .

yeah.... such hate for the "neons"

honestly, those of you that say all this "it's just a neon" shit should really go drive an SRT4. that's all it took for me to become a believer, and I've had more then a few performance oriented cars.
