So how much in aid funds do you think we'll recieve from countries? I know we get a bad rep if we dont send aid right away(hence the Tsunami) but we sent MILLIONS or perhaps Billions, i dunno the exact # in money, supplies, medicine, help.
How much do you think we'll see from countries we've helped out in the past. Or else perhaps the UN getting involved and sending troops from other countries to help with search and rescue?
I predict 0 foreign troops, and not a red cent for funds.
If this is the answer, I hope Bush would never help any of these pocket digging bastard countries ever again.

Aid from other countries will be minimal. I'd expect that Canada and the UK will provide a token amount of relief. Yes, I know, we shell out too much away from home and don't take care of those that need it here.
I HOPE zero foreign troops. That would send a bad signal to the rest of the world and show a sign of weakness.
Its a double edged sword being the richest country in the world, on one hand you wanna say fuck the rest of the world, but on the other that is what lead to the downfall of every great empire in history.

Anyone else still keeping up with the news? Here is what is currently going on: shops being looted, carjackings, cops being killed in the street, 80% of the city under water with bodies floating in the flooded ruins.
I can't find any news site that can confirm this, but there is a rumor on another site that I am on that says that the city of New Orleans is now under Marshal Law. Like I said, I haven't found anything to confirm this yet.
Shit just keeps getting worse.

Yeah i can see looters looting for food water. but for video games, video game systems...they should get doubled the sentence when they get caught
-
^I have been told that when the guard steps in for situations like this it is always marshal law.
(edit. kirk they dont double the sentence under this type of situation..they just shoot you.)

Speaking of looting, my mom just pointed out a hella funny vid.
Turn on FOX news tonight, and when they show looting vids at a supermarket, theres a clip of a large black guy in a blue shirt covering his face for identity reasons, and hes walking away. but after that a girl wearing a "Mean girls suck, Nice girls swallow" Tshirt walks into the clip. Its hillarious. i recommend watching it.

FYI- It is martial law, not marshal law or however you guys are spelling it. That is when the millitary takes control of normal administration of justice.which would make sense...since the national guard and coast guard are running the show

I wonder how the water is even going to go down in new orleans. accounting on that they are like 8 ft below sea level or so... I bet it's going to take a long time for that city to get back to normal... of course

and i think they are just crybabies...i mean i have no idea what they are complaining about

There should have never been a city there. Its kind of like building a house right on the red river then wondering why you have to rebuild every year.
Are they going to rebuild the whole city?
does anyone else think this is kinda retarded, like, did they seriously think this would never happen? -
