Thoughts on "Pefect 10" show

On behalf of myself, Zucru, and BRAKADA I would like to thank Tinmasters, Veritas, Hooligans, and all those who attended the show. We had a blast and I hope you enjoyed what we had to offer.
I was the main DJ for the night, DJ Dextrious performed for a bit near the end and our whole dj battle thing was very un-expected. Hope you enjoyed some of the performances I brought down with me! My freeking ears are still ringing!! This show was crazy!! You all must come down for Sport Compact Nights up here in Winnipeg next year.
hehe the guy who called the 350Z the 3502 wasn't one of the Brakada guys, I believe it was one of the sponsors reading out their awards.
Thanks again everybody! I am looking forward to spinning at a few more places in town!!
The cars were hot and the girls hotter...I hear one of the tintmasters ladies is a pilot?..Thats even hotter! (Sexxy and Smart =D)
Unfortunatly the moulding by my rear window peeled off before the show started, so I apologize if the blue 2.5RS (GM6/GC8) looked a bit ghetto with the popped moulding, I'm sure you were all drooling at the R32's and S13 =D
Thanks again!

As for those ripping on the Escort... Dee that owns it is probably the nicest guy anybody could ever meet. He's spent a lot of time and put a lot of hard work into that car. It has many performance mods, including an Esslinger head, and probably one of the most in depth displays anybody could ever see.
I would say he was a great pick for best Domestic SC.

hell yeah that escort is pimp...probably the nicest escort ive seen(not that ive seen a ton) but it seemed very balanced and well put together...he was very deserving of the trophy...he didnt just have body work he actually had an escort with a built motor!
-
Escort with a built motor. Way to be different. I like when people do stuff like that. Good job on trophies on congrats to winners.
PS scott should of took the mits. class. i hated how that 3000 was black with the white. To lazy to do it all. Who was the zucru model by the way? She likes posing ill tell you that much. DAMN

SHow was great, props to The tintmasters guys and congrats to all th winners. i hope that shane does it every year and maybe there will be more lights next time, that's all the lights we had to use with out renting more( i helped put the light and sound up)if shane does have us do the light next year maybe we can try to get more.

I think the only thing that sucked was the fact that the show had to be split up. I think next time if a bigger turnout is expected, half the dome should be rented out, Or the alerus center. (75 miles less for the Canada guys). Other than that it was well played out.

I helped judge this show and while my personal tastes where for Scotts Mitsu, he just didn't score enough points (on my sheet or any of the other judges). Having the engine bay a diff color cost the 3000 a few points, but he made up for them elsewhere. Not much else I can say.

- Escort ZX2 ... WHAT THE FUCK!
- Green Tiburon with plastic engine bay. and 12 yr old owner.
- muscatel Steve Erkel car.
- Blue RSX w/ shitty turbo kit and wheels.
- Cadillac with rims and nothing else.
- SLD 98 Honda Accord EX with rims, teins and exhaust.
- the red Astro Van that had wheels. and stock tint.
Who judged this show?
I don't know who you are and personally I don't care. Your a dumbass. If you got any problems with any of these vehicles (including mine) talk to me about it. Obviously nobody else had a problem with any of these cars besides you because you are the only retard opening your mouth. That, and I didn't vote for myself to get 3rd place. I'm sorry I don't own a dsm or a honda like everyone in this area. If your ragging on me for being orginal then your worse off than I am. My car is clean and well put together in my opinion. I know its not the normal show car from this region but I take pride on being different. Thats why I'm doing this, So i don't look like your car. Get over it.
On a more positive note, Tintmasters put on a great show and it was well recieved by everyone I talked to. Again, my only complaint is that the lights were too dark to see in great detail and to take some pictures. Otherwise the show was great. Awesome job Tintmasters!!!

Seriously...i couldve brought my gramma's Buick Century Custom and won an award becuase it ssays "Custom" on it!!!!
Your Z looked hott!
I knew someone would try to talk crap about my car being in the show. I woulda won if there was a "Best Half Detailed 4 Door Grandpa Car" in the show
Kevin and his guys really did a great job on the half of my car they did, though. It was a total night and day difference!!! The paint actually looked alive for the first time in years! Thanks SLD

Congrats to everyone who took home an award! There were some great cars there and it was really nice to see some local people get honored for all the hard work and insane amounts of cash they put into their cars. I think some of the cars that didn't take any trophies home should still be proud of their rides. Bring 'em back next year with a vengeance!
Thanks to Tintmasters and all involved for putting on a great show!!!

I thought the show was great, a different pace then alot of the car shows around the area and it was well put togeater for being the first indoor tintmasters show. The show did get a little long, but i am sure it will be better every year when they get everything worked out. once again great job on the show Shane and everyone from Tintmasters

congrats to all the winners. to tony espeacially!

I think you are confused...Chuck stated that while his personal tastes were in favor of the Eclipse, he gave the 3000gt more points, therefore overriding his personal taste. -

You are correct, judging did have score sheets, I should have been more clear. The only section that I could have any sort of personal opinion added was the "Overall Appearance" category. Everything else was based on cleanliness/display/ICE/Performance Mods/Exterior Mods/Interior Mods/Custom Paint or Graphics/Clean Paint/and one more category I can't think of off the top of my head.
Advice to anyone who is going to have their car judged by me: I check 2 wheel wells and under the sideskirts for dirt. If I find dirt in any of those areas I deduct points from the cleanliness section. Seriously, 95% of the cars had CHUNKS of dirt up in their wheel wells.

I'd try my best to completely forget what everyone elses car looked like in a given category and just go by how I'd rate looks on a scale of 1 to 10. I never did an A/B comparison when figuring in points. Always went SOLELY on how the vehicle in front of me scored on the criteria I had to judge. In other words, I judged the cars then forgot everything about them.
