Ok, so when you tear this thing apart, are you going to "dowel" the two halves of the block to eliminate twisting? If not, your block is probably in for a short life. Not trying to be critical, just helpful. I just read something on nasioc from the new zealand guys breaking blocks at about 500 whp unless the blocks are doweled. Just don't want you guys to have to buy a new block right away...

If everyone just bought older cars to do what someone else has done, where would that take the industry. And you make the comment of 'ruin' the car.... What kind of racing will you do with it? Drag? autocross? Will it be full weight or cage etc? Will it have 5 displays and a 40 inch plasma in the trunk? LOL

I plan to get a blue EVO over winter. If so we can have a STI vs EVO shootout come spring.
